2019 Election Calendar

General Election

November 5, 2019

September 3: Petition filing deadline for Primary Election. (64 days before General)

October 15: Last day to register to vote for the November General Election. Board of Elections office open until 9 p.m. (21 days before Primary)
Last day to file a change of residence.

October 22: On or before this date, applications for appointment of Challengers for General Election shall be filed with the County Board of Elections.

October 29: Last day to apply for a Mail-in Ballot application (formerly civilian absentee ballot) for the General Election

October 30: Mailing of sample ballots for General Election.

November 1: A qualified overseas voter who wishes to receive a faxed, emailed or mailed federal ballot for the Primary Election, must apply to the County Clerk no later than the fourth day before the General Election.

November 4: A Mail-in Ballot Voter who misses the deadline may apply in person at the County Clerk for a Mail-in Ballot up to 3:00 p.m. the day before the election.

November 5General Election Day.

      Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

      Mail-in Ballots must be submitted in person by 8 p.m.

November 22: Recount application deadline for General Election.
